Celebrating 30 years of their ground-breaking book, Turin Shroud: How Leonardo da Vinci Fooled History, Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince explain how their painstaking research led to the support of Sir David Frost, the very first hands-on recreation of all the allegedly miraculous characteristics of the ‘Shroud’ – and the jaw-dropping visual ‘smoking gun’ that proves Leonardo’s involvement.

They will explain the twists and turns of their lengthy research, the vicious resistance of both traditionalist ‘Shroudies’ and the art world – some of which is both surreal and hilarious – and their big ‘eureka!’ moment.

The important thing, however, is not that the alleged relic is a fake. It is the most remarkable artefact in its own right, being – so Lynn and Clive will reveal – not only the world’s first photograph, and by Da Vinci – but an actual selfie of the genius himself.

But even so, there’s much more to it than just a scam: there was still a distinct whiff of magick about the ‘Shroud’…
