with Gede Parma (Fio)

Price £5

In this talk we will learn about the histories and significances of spirit-working and oracular and possessory rites in contemporary witchcraft in the West, as well as from Gede’s family history through Balinese traditions. Drawing from folkloric sources, threads of continuity and the gnosis that occurs when we make contact with the Gods, we will explore what it means to conjure, and then to cultivate passionate and serious relationships with spirit people.

Gede Parma (Fio) is an initiated witch working within several traditions, the Lucifer (Magister) of the Sophian Thread of the Wildwood and a published author of several books on contemporary and ecstatic witchcraft and magical practice. He was born in Bali, raised in South-East Queensland in Australia, and is currently living and working in Melbourne, Australia, the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation.  Further information can be found on his website.
