During this workshop, Clinically trained hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist Paul Wood will provide an introduction to working with trance and altered states of consciousness in your spiritual work. During the course of the day, attendees will be shown some of the main mechanisms of trance, experience inducing trance states in themselves and others, and begin building confidence to enter trance at will for spiritual work.
Paul will use a range of techniques from traditional hypnosis, psychology, NLP and his own techniques to help those attending to access naturally occurring altered states of consciousness for well-being, spiritual and magical work.
Who is Paul Wood?
Paul Wood is a sticks and stones type of witch. A lifelong student of the Craft and the Mysteries, he has been teaching ‘Western Esoteric Herbalism’ for over 15 years. During this time he has extensively researched the historical use of plants and herbs in magic, and owned a company dedicated to recreating and selling historic and ancient occult recipes.
He is first and foremost a Witch, though has collected a number of labels over the years; A Wiccan High Priest, an initiate of ceremonial traditions, and a traditional witch amongst them. In the mundane worlds, Paul has a background in integrative psychotherapy, psychology and clinical hypnosis.
