An exhibition of paintings, here at The Atlantis Bookshop, celebrating some of the best writers of supernatural fiction and their work.
These are portraits of Victorian ghost writers, painted by Anthony Keates, and include authors Charles Dickens, Mary Shelley, Edgar Allan Poe, E Nesbit, Vernon Lee, M R James, Edith Wharton, Robert Louis Stevenson, M E Braddon, H P Lovecraft and Bram Stoker. And of the painter Austin Osman Spare, including an example of his work.
