It’s time to visit our sister again – she who unmakes and remakes, who knows the core strength of us, who holds life, death, and change as sacred – the Dark Goddess.
We have all spent time in her Underworld. Lost to our own lives and hardly knowing how to emerge, or who we would become. But somehow we surrendered. We allowed ourselves to be unmade, step by step we rebirthed ourselves, and emerged. Maybe we’ve been there many times. Maybe the Dark Goddess is one of our dearest allies.
And yet. When did we last make time to visit her? Sit by her altar, pour the offerings? She is always there in our times of crisis – are we always there for her? The planet warms while land is devastated, mass species extinctions continue, and politics turns hard right. In our own lives we face many challenges.
For this day, we’ll return. We’ll remember the Dark Goddess. We’ll journey within to listen to her voice, and with divination, ritual and discussion discover how we can bring her more fully into our lives and the world. It’s time.
