Come celebrate Pride Month with us in this inclusive and creative collage workshop led by Luciano, the artist behind the sustainable art practice House of Frisson. In this hands-on session, participants will learn his signature collage on ceramics technique to create a meaningful wall plate mixing inspirational LGBTQ+ inclusive quotes with vibrant, colourful flowers.
Each participant will receive a pre-painted ceramic plate to decorate using collage materials and colourful marker pens. Luciano will guide everyone through the process step by step — no previous experience is needed. The atmosphere will be warm, relaxed, and welcoming to all.
At the end of the workshop, participants will take home their plate with a first coat of varnish applied during the session. All materials are included.
Upcycling turns everyday materials into stories worth sharing. Come create yours with us.
Everyone is welcome.

About the artist
Luciano Rocha is the artist behind House of Frisson, a sustainable art practice that transforms discarded ceramics into vibrant, narrative rich wall pieces. Using a mix of hand painting and collage, Luciano gives new life to plates sourced from community donations, charity shops, and even rescued from the streets, keeping them out of landfill and turning them into objects of meaning and joy.
He began upcycling ceramics during the pandemic, and since then House of Frisson has grown a dedicated following for its playful, nostalgic, and subtly subversive aesthetic. Luciano has since shown his creations at various craft markets and art exhibitions, expanding the reach of his sustainable practice.
Alongside this ongoing project, Luciano also facilitates workshops where he guides participants to upcycle ceramics using his signature collage technique, creating welcoming spaces for creativity, storytelling, and sustainable art making.
