This story centres around Pamela Colman Smith, born 1878, in Pimlico, London, and will discover her muses for her iconic tarot deck, which was printed in 1909. We will track the when, where and how Pamela met Dame Ellen Terry, celebrity actress, muse and patron, and Florence Farr, actress, producer, director and teacher, and how these two women may have inspired her two tarot cards, The Empress and the High Priestess. Susan will also talk about how this research inspired the plot for her 2024 release of High Priestess and Empress, Book Two, Arcana Oracle Series. There will be a powerpoint presentation and demonstration tarot reading, along with books to sign.
