With Priscilla Costello

Cost £30

We are thrilled to be holding this exciting afternoon event here at The Atlantis Bookshop with Priscilla Costello.

Shakespeare is doubtless one of the most important transmitters of the Western esoteric tradition, though it is well garmented in his works.  His treatment of magic, both black (in Macbeth) and white (in The Tempest) is dramatic and daring for his time.  Does he really reference and incorporate alchemy?  But we can uncover the more obvious and more subtle ways that he uses astrological symbolism – poetically, psychologically and structurally.

Priscilla Costello M.A., Dipl. CAAE, is an educator, writer, speaker and counselling astrologer.  Founder and Director of the New Alexandria, a centre for religious, spiritual and esoteric studies, she has been a student of various esoteric disciplines for many years.  She is also the author of the Weiser Concise Guide to Practical Astrology (Weiser, 2008), an elegantly written and readable introduction to the art and science of astrological basics and interpretation.

It is important to reserve your place by paying in advance for this afternoon event, so please either click the PayPal button below (which will allow you to pay online even if you don’t have a PayPal account – just use the “checkout as a guest” option) then email me with a contact phone number in case I need to get in touch, or call 020 7405 2120 if you would prefer to pay over the phone.  Please note that we can only offer a full refund for any cancellations notified to us at least 48 hours before the event.
